Matt reeves is talking about doing a sequel to cloverfield as it made 40million over the weekend don't know if jj. abrams is going to be involved with the project but alot of rumours on ign rotten tomatoes are saying that the movie could be released in 2009 so really not a long time to wait for the sequel

I think that the movie was great the rating i will give it is 8/10
The running time of the movie was 1hour and 15mins which is like WAT its way to short for a monster movie.
Well the monster was freaking awsome it was like a giant 4 legged spider cross between a dinosaur and the face kind of reminded me of a bat also i would describe the tail as a tapole tail
There are mini monsters in the movie but its hard to see what they look like clearly because the camera is really shakey and it goes quickly aswell.
The acting is okey even though we've never seen them before in previous movies so great job.
The speacil effects in the movie is WOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!
The plot: RUNNING AWAY FROM A GIANT MONSTER and thats it no reason where it came from just that what we knew before the release was running away from the monster and after the releaser running away from the monster we know nothing about this monster.
So i think they should do a sequel to find out where this monster comes from and more about why did it attack new york.

Do you know the date of the events that happen in the Cloverfield tape??? I Do :) Mon, April 27 2009 and May Fri 22 & Sat 23 2009 :) CLOVERFIELD IS "THE SH!T RIGHT THERE..."
if you watch the special features on the dvd,the directors reveal some stuff about the monster
for example
*the monster is a baby and when it yells, its crying for its mom
*the monster isnt purposefully attacking the city, its just scared
*and other stuff I cant remember
